THE AUDITION ROOM

More than an audition, The Audition Room is an elite, growth-focused audition experience designed to give dancers the opportunity to step into the room, be seen, receive professional feedback and be considered for scholarships and recognition across Conservatory training programs.

    Dancers perform in small groups, demonstrating their connection to movement, musicality and performance quality.

  5. Panel Feedback & Wrap-Up
    Every dancer leaves with individual feedback from the panel.

TEENS & SENIORS

    Demonstrating control, connection and artistry in small groups.

    Personalised advice from our industry panel based on how the dancer is presenting and progressing in the audition.

Terms & Conditions – Participation in Dance Conservatory Australia  Events & Workshops
By purchasing a ticket and/or participating in any Dance Conservatory Australia (DCA) event, including but not limited to The Audition Room, Open Day, or any advertised workshop or experience, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Ticket Purchase & Communication
  • By purchasing a ticket to a Dance Conservatory Australia event, you consent to receiving communications regarding the event from the event organiser via email.
  • It is the responsibility of the participant (or parent/guardian if under 18) to ensure contact details are accurate at time of purchase to receive all relevant event information and updates.
2. Eligibility for Scholarships
  • Scholarship awards and program placements may only be offered to dancers who are current Dance Conservatory Australia  students or who have successfully auditioned and been accepted into a Dance Conservatory Australia training program.
  • Participation in the event does not automatically qualify you for a scholarship.
3. Notice of Photography/Videography
  • By entering the event premises, you acknowledge and agree that the event may be photographed or filmed for promotional, archival, or marketing purposes.
  • You grant Dance Conservatory Australia full rights to use any such images or recordings, including edited versions, in print and digital media formats without compensation or notice.
  • If you do not consent to being photographed or recorded, it is your responsibility to inform Dance Conservatory Australia  in writing prior to the event.
4. Participation & Behaviour
  • Dancers are expected to arrive on time, in appropriate dance attire, and participate respectfully and safely throughout the experience.
  • The organiser reserves the right to remove any participant from the event if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.
5. Assumption of Risk & Injury Waiver
  • Dance is a physical activity and, as such, participation carries an inherent risk of injury.
  • By participating in this event, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept the risks associated with dance training, including physical exertion and potential injury.
  • Dance Conservatory Australia, its staff, affiliates, guest choreographers, and venue partners are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained during the event.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit and capable of participating safely.
6. Refund & Transfer Policy
  • All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued for change of mind or non-attendance.
  • Tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval from the organiser.
7. Changes to the Event
  • Dance Conservatory Australia reserves the right to alter event details (including time, location, instructors, or content) if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. All reasonable efforts will be made to communicate changes in advance.
