Overview

This pathway has been designed for dancers who are ready to develop beyond performance alone, and begin building the skills required to sustain a long-term career within the industry.

Alongside practical training, students are introduced to the business and professional realities of working in the industry - including freelance pathways, personal branding, teaching, choreography, and creative direction.

The focus is on developing dancers who are capable of navigating the broader industry with confidence, clarity, and independence.

Through a combination of practical application and learning, dancers gain insight into how to build opportunities, manage their own work, and establish themselves within a competitive and evolving industry.


Qualification & Pathway Options

Students within this pathway have the opportunity to undertake nationally recognised training, aligned with industry standards.

Available qualifications include:

  • CUA40320 Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management

  • CUA30320 Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching

Engagement in these qualifications is optional and can be aligned with each student’s individual goals and direction.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand resident or citizen

  • Demonstrate appropriate literacy and communication skills

  • Successfully complete the audition process

Course Fees

$6,000 per annum

Including a $1000 non-refundable deposit

Course fees do not include additional expenses such as gala participation, costumes, or other incidental costs.
