COLLEGE
OF PERFORMING ARTS
For Students Who Don’t Fit the Traditional Setting…
Designed for committed young performers in Years 5–12, this program supports students who thrive in a flexible, personalised learning environment, combining academic study with professional-standard dance training in a way that honours their individual needs.
We recognise that students learn differently, and our College provides a setting where they can pursue their passion for performance while completing their schooling through an approved education provider suited to their learning style. Our aim is to ensure every student remains academically supported while growing as an artist, preparing them for both professional pathways in the arts and future academic opportunities.
We work closely with families, schools, and education partners to create learning plans that are balanced, structured, and fully supported — ensuring each student’s wellbeing, growth, and long-term success remain at the centre.
How It Works
Students remain enrolled with their chosen education provider, completing their academic studies within the College day.
We provide the structure, supervision, and support required to manage both training and learning — creating a balanced and sustainable approach to development.
Training within the College
Training is delivered within a structured daytime model, allowing dancers to develop with greater consistency and intent.
This includes a combination of technical training, conditioning, and performance-based work — designed to support long-term progression, not just short-term output.
With more time, less fatigue, and a considered daily rhythm, dancers are able to engage more deeply in both their training and their learning.
A Different Approach
This model reflects a more modern approach to training — one that prioritises longevity, development, and the overall wellbeing of the dancer, while maintaining the discipline and standards the art form demands.
It is not about doing more. It is about doing it properly.
